Oceania Baths confirms industry leadership with two new extraordinary products

THETFORD MINES, Quebec, 20 February 2006 - Oceania Baths is launching two new products, each targeting a specific market: the Alexander, a deluxe bath with a sleek, streamlined design; and the Sakura, a multifunctional bath/shower for people wishing to preserve their autonomy at home. These products will be distributed across North America. As a result, Oceania has strengthened its leadership position in the design and manufacturing of bath tubs that combine luxury, comfort and functionality.

Alexander: the latest word in refinement and comfort

Elegance, comfort, and beauty are the distinguishing characteristics of the Alexander's design. It is a large bath (72 x 48 in) that can comfortably accommodate two people side by side or face to face. The buyer will certainly appreciate such friendly features as the reclining back rests and arm rests as well as the tub's depth (17 inches deep inside).

"We paid special attention to the design of this model," says Marc Dussault, president of Oceania Baths. "Our goal was to create a product that provides unequalled comfort and well-being. The Alexander's streamlined design will delight consumers for whom aesthetics is important. The Alexander will also be of interest to hotel managers who want an added touch of elegance in the bathrooms of their establishments. Alexander's curving lines have a pleasing and soothing effect. The AeroMassage® and Super AeroMassage® AirBath systems can easily be integrated with this model for optimal hygiene. No other bath brings together in harmony such qualities as elegance and comfort as well as a classic and modern look."

Sakura: combining ease of use, safety and practicality

The Sakura bath/shower was designed to meet the comfort and safety needs of people wishing to retain their autonomy at home. Thanks to its standard size (60 x 30), installation is easy and convenient. Its 12-inch stepover allows for safe and easy access.

"Our focus with the Sakura was on functionality," says Marc Dussault. "The acrylic trim was reinforced to accommodate a convenient fold-up shower seat and support bars. Maintenance is also easy: the model's smooth, joint-free surface can easily be cleaned with a wet cloth. Competing models - which are sold at much higher prices - usually come with a door that lets water drip onto the bathroom floor, whereas the Sakura's design overcomes this problem. Also, the Sakura is the only model in its category that offers the option of both the AeroMassage® and Super AeroMassage® AirBath systems - which allow for total comfort and relaxation."

With the new Alexander and Sakura models, Oceania Baths has confirmed its commitment to creating high-quality products that completely satisfy the needs and preferences of its customers. Oceania's catalogue, now including these impressive additions, has helped place the company at the forefront of the industry in North America. Oceania Baths continues to distinguish itself with outstanding product lines that bring together elegance, comfort, and safety. Its Self-Draining/Drying® system in either the AeroMassage® or Super AeroMassage® AirBath has redefined standards for cleanliness, hygiene, and reliability in the industry.
